The BMW CE04 is an impressive electric scooter, but its biggest complaint? The price. Some say it’s too expensive for what it offers, but at the same time, it’s one of the few electric scooters with solid dealer support and a brand that will actually be around long-term.

For those considering an electric scooter the CE02 is a cheaper alternative but it’s still a BMW meaning it costs more than most budget e-scooters. The upside? Larger wheels, brand reliability, and dealership support which is something many smaller EV scooter brands can’t offer.

Would you choose a BMW electric scooter over a cheaper alternative, or does the price make it hard to justify compared to other options?

The CE04 can reach smooth highway speeds and offers quick acceleration. It comes with a dependable platform, roadside assistance, and a three-year warranty. Additionally, it has a higher resale value, which is another positive feature. I would certainly choose it over any other option

It's kinda funny they're complaining about the price, but didn't even check out the CE02, which is half the cost. Yeah, they're not cheap. But I'm still thinking about the CE02 because it's the only ebike with service around here. Harley Davidson's ebikes aren't sold here, and Zero isn't available. There are a lot of cheap scooters, but they have small wheels, and the companies disappear. At least with BMW, you know they'll last.
