I'm looking into the CE 04, is the wet belt slip still an issue, or did they sort that out by adjusting the tension?

They probably use a belt with teeth, which stops it from slipping when it's wet, unless it's not tight enough. But a loose belt will slip no matter if it's wet or dry.
