CE 04 scooter storage

BMW CE 04 scooter is definitely a head turner. I'm wondering though if it's got enough space for everyday stuff like groceries or a helmet. I've heard mixed things about the storage and everyone knows you can't trust just the specs. But basically is it a practical ride or just a fancy toy for short trips?

A helmet would do it. Groceries only a small bag. Not a practical ride definitely.

What about a SHAD top case? It could be a solution, even though it breaks the look.
